Focusing on the loss settlement terms will help shine the light on the responsibility of the insured. The Secret Formula for Successful Fire Investigations.The presentation will outline the ingredients needed for a successful investigation involving subrogation, liability, and special investigative units and/or fraud. Adjusters will be introduced to a systematic checklist of important details and questions that will be needed to be asked and obtained to have a successful fire claims investigation. The hour-long presentation will focus on the recognition, and investigation techniques employed to deliver the best recovery after a loss. The presentation touches on the legal and technical theories available and explains the methods used to maximize recoveries. In addition, we will review case studies that will allow the audience to interact and have questions answered in a variety of scenarios that are involved in common loss scenarios.
