2024 Volunteer of the Year Award WinnerJeremy Weaks from Prophetstown MutualNormal, IL – Jeremy Weaks, from Prophetstown Mutual Insurance Company in Prophetstown, IL, was recognized as the Volunteer of the Year for the Illinois Association of Mutual Insurance Companies during their 143rd Annual Convention in August 2024. Jeremy has chaired the IAMC Education Committee for the past few years and has been instrumental in putting together seminars that benefit the association as a whole, not just his own company. He has played a critical role in the planning process of IAMIC and has contributed significantly by sharing his knowledge, particularly in the area of insurance claims. Jeremy has also developed a valuable resource tool to aid mutual companies in learning about their history and planning for the future. His dedication, resilience, and proactive approach have made him an invaluable asset to the association. The Volunteer of the Year Award originated in 2005 as a means to recognize those individuals who generously donate their time to the success of the association. The Volunteer of the Year Award is presented to a person who serves as an example of volunteer commitment and leadership. The Illinois Association of Mutual Insurance Companies is a trade association comprised of farm mutual insurance companies.
