2022 Volunteer of the Year Award WinnerAndy Gerlach from Randolph MutualEast Peoria, IL – Andy Gerlach of Randolph Illinois Mutual Insurance Company, Steeleville, IL, was honored as the Volunteer of the Year for the Illinois Association of Mutual Insurance Companies at their 141st Annual Convention in August 2022. Gerlach earned this award by consistently stepping up to help our Association and our industry exemplifying professionalism and integrity. He has chaired the Fun Run since we began this fundraising campaign along with purchasing the shirts and helping set up designs. On top of volunteering on many committees and serving on the Board of Directors for five years, Andy is always there to give a helping hand in any way needed. Whether it's setting up or tearing down signs, handing out documents or participating in panels, he is always willing to help make things run just a bit smoother. The Volunteer of the Year Award originated in 2005 as a means to recognize those individuals who generously donate their time to the success of the association. The Volunteer of the Year Award is presented to a person who serves as an example of volunteer commitment and leadership. The Illinois Association of Mutual Insurance Companies is a trade association comprised of farm mutual insurance companies. Mutual insurance, like the farming industry, has been a part of the Illinois landscape for well over a century.
